Workshops

Following the reassignment of the guesthouse into a brewery in the 16th century, various workshops were built around it. They were given their final appearance in the 18th century. They included cloakrooms, one where the monks’ old clothes were left for distribution to the poor, the other where the monks’ clothes were stored, but also a laundry, latrines, stables, the blacksmith’s forge, the workshops of the wheelwright, the cabinetmaker, and the carpenter.
